Today, two-stroke cross-country motorcycles with an engine capacity of 500cc have already become legendary. A return to the era when men were men and motorcycles were real monsters, alas, is no longer possible. Even just starting the engine of such a beast could be a difficult ordeal. And not every pro could cope with their sharp power supply, mind-blowing vibration and dizzying acceleration. One of these monsters was a new motorcycle from Honda in the open class model CR500R, which appeared in 1984 and replaced the Honda CR480R motorcycle. The motorcycle is the most powerful cross-country vehicle produced by Honda in its entire history. It was equipped with a 2-stroke air-cooled engine with a volume of 491 cc, which produced 64 hp. power and 77 Nm of torque. However, the insane power looked great on the Dyno charts, but did not benefit on the competition tracks. The bike was tough, unpredictable and, as many noted, it was really scary to ride.
