WHY THERE IS ENGINE OIL ON SPARK PLUGS ON BMW. OIL LEAK SPARK PLUG
If you have BMW and you have engine oil in the spark plug hole / spark plug pocket and once you remove the spark plug it is covered with engine oil on the outside in this video we will explain what often causes engine oil on the spark plug or engine oil in the spark plug hole pocket on BMW. Often you can notice that higher mileage engines or older engine can develop oil leak that will cause engine oil in the spark plug holes pockets and on top of the spark plug. You may even notice engine oil on the ignition coil too and this often caused by a leaking valve cover gasket that seals that spark plug well hole. We demonstrated what the gasket look like and what causes engine oil on top of the spark plugs on BMW. If you have too much oil in the spark plug hole pocket that can lead to engine misfire as well.
