Vauxhall insignia 1.4 turbo ESC service message after repair. Please read description further issues
ok bought the vehichle 31st of May woth extended warranty, have been in over 10 occasions to have same issues dealt with over and over and over.
upon collecting the vehicle on Thursday 16th november 2023 after what was believed to be the repair successful after at least 10 visits with this even vauxhall direct having remotely connect to the car for the 2nd occasion (info I was told by garage). upon collecting the car, my son and I got into the car for the service esc light to come on straight away. went back in and spoke to the service manager dealing with this and also the mechanic. was advised to try 2nd key. I drove home and noticed now my stop start that was working on the day I handed in my car to their workshop along woth the gear warning illuminated suggested gear change was also now no longer working.
on Friday 17th November 2023, whilst driving the esc light itself briefly illuminated, initially I thought was traction light but referring to the manual it was the esc warning light that illuminated. I drove the vehichle the 20 plus miles on Friday as the car was still not working right, start stop not working despite head office customer support telling me it was and also this now new fault that has only happened by any work that has been carried on the car.
I have been in contact with the executive office as well who initially I was talking to in regards to rejecting the car. I also spoke to the head office support that was raising the case but due to issues with the garage itself and not maintaining and keeping all work job cards I was told it couldn't be done until they received all job cards. this I was told was the previous service manager and staff under his guidance not following the correct procedure hence why job cards are missing yet I'm suffering due to garage negligence.
despite arrangement discussed re reject the car I'm now being advised to yet again follow more guidance of taking the vehichle in to another garage even further away than I have been taking. not only does my familly feel unsafe in this vehichle I too am concerned using this vehichle due to the extent of these problems.
