Make-A-Wish Mustang Overhaul - Justin D & Steve Voudouris of AmericanMuscle.com

We build a Mustang for a die-hard Make-A-Wish child and Mustang fanatic, Johnathan. AmericanMuscle's president, Steve Voudouris, was excited to reveal Johnathan's dream Mustang at the AmericanMuscle 2015 Mustang show.

"When we first got a call from Make-A-Wish and we learned that Johnathan's wish was to have us, AmericanMuscle, overhaul his car, we were honored. We were excited! We got a chance to go back and forth with him quite a bit. I got a chance to meet him early today and he's really a great kid and couldn't deserve this more", Steve Voudouris () said.

Make-A-Wish approached AmericanMuscle about an 18 year old named Johnathan with a life-threatening illness whose wish was to have his 2000 Mustang customized by the AmericanMuscle team. Honored and excited to grant his wish, we stepped in to tackle the project. Our team worked with Johnathan to find out exactly what Mustang he dreamed up and then our artists sketched it to find out if we hit the mark.

Johnathan was thrilled with the concept and told us we were definitely headed in the right direction. He was blown away by it and more excited than ever to have his wish start to take form. After we got his 2000 Mustang to our headquarters, we realized it was beyond repair. It had extensive body damage and a cracked frame. We were determined to keep Johnathan's wish alive. We worked with Johnathan to help him get a 2001 Mustang GT so that we could still build the New Edge Mustang that he dreamed of.

Building someone's dream car is a challenge that we were thrilled to be a part of. Johnathan's dream was a 1999-2004 Mustang that looked like a Boss 302 Laguna Seca with red and black paint. He loved the look of the Roush body kit and side-exit exhaust along with an SVT Cobra hood. Our friends at Malvern Collision helped us transform the exterior to look exactly like our sketch.

After that, it was our turn to take over with performance modifications from exhaust, cold air intake, throttle body, intake manifold, full exhaust, gears, driveshaft, brakes and even wheels and tires. We hooked Johnathan up with Raxiom Gen5 Taillights and Halo Headlights. Finally, the interior was transformed with new carpet, seats, a touch screen audio system, speakers and interior LED lighting.

All that was left was to reveal this dream Mustang build to Jonathan at the show.

Wish fulfilled...
