Welcome to the sale of my 1954 Rover 90 P4, a truly iconic British classic car, full of quality and personality as you would expect from a British car of its era.
As I hope you can see this is a very original car, full of character, please read on and enjoy my detailed video tour.
Rover data -
First registered - 01/12/1954
Mileage - 77800 ( I believe this to be true, all documentation/repair invoices/MOT’s are confirming ultra low mileage London car)
3 previous keepers on the new V5 log book (in my name)
I have the original Buff log book for the car.
I have the original drivers instruction book
Old tax disc’s, earliest dates back to 1973
Old MOT certificates earliest 1990.
Free wheel car to assist fuel consumption, it all works well, you can change gear with the need of the clutch.
Repair invoices earliest being April 1966 where it had a new engine fitted.
How many left web-site data show’s 6 cars Rover 90’s from 1954, throughout its production there are now 286 cars taxed and 93 sorned, with DVLA, this is a very rare motor car!
Re-commissioning works I have carried out -
Service as required, (Oils, antifreeze, brake fluid etc)
Completely overhaul the braking system, seals, rubber and copper grease, clean up linings and adjust up)
Replace 4 tyres, correct size cross-ply’s, fitted white wall sleeves.
Adjust exhaust system preventing body rub.
Replace OSF wheel bearing.
Top up underbody wax oil.
Repair clock, change to Neg - earth, all carried out by clocks4classics.
Polish and touch up paint and all original chrome.
Replace dash bulbs as required.
What more can I say?
As I hope you can see this is a lovely original classic car, authentic in every way. I would love to keep this one, the Rover P4 has always been a favourite of mine, I will also be marketing it towards film and video directors for period car hire, it is such a beauty there is a good chance of income from owning her.
