Welcome to Tesla Plug and todays video is about Tesla model s trunk, The trunk was not opening and it was stuck shut. But I fixed it.
Our Tesla Model S trunk was saying it was open but it was stuck closed. This made a beeping warning noise every time we tried to drive it. We also couldn’t lock the doors properly. Of course, we also couldn’t get groceries unless we put it in the frunk. The next service appointment was three weeks out and we did not want to wait. This is a video on how we ended up fixing it and Tesla came out and said we did what they would have tried to do before replacing parts.
Tesla Model S owners with automatic tailgates often get locked out of their trunks due to several reasons. If your car's electric trunk is stuck open or stuck shut, it's a major inconvenience. Tesla Electric Cars can be expensive especially if they need repairs or to replace a car that is damaged. It is important to arm ourselves with tricks and tips on how to repair an electric car.
If this is happening, the root of the problem could be mechanical or electric. This guide will help you locate and fix the problem so your trunk can work properly.
