In today's episode we are removing and replacing the wheel bearing on a 2006 BMW 325i without removing the whole knuckle or any control arms. Also not using any hydraulic press. That would be a big waste of time. Work smarter, not harder!
This job does require some special tools, most of which can easily be rented. I have included links to all the tools and the parts I used below. Keep in mind, after you return the rental tools, you get ALL of your money back. The Hub remover kit is about $369 to rent, but I promise it is well worth your time and saves a ton of hassle!
There is also a cheaper version on Amazon if you order ahead:
Special tools (mostly rentals from O'reillys);
Evertough Hub Remover/Installer kit. Part # 67213
(Use to remove/install wheel bearings & hub)
