Backup and restore files with Time Machine (with subtitles)
Backup with Time Machine. You will need external disk drive (USB or Thunderbolt)
Instructions:
Prepare backup disk:
Start the Disk Utility ... 00:17
Select disk ... 00:26
Click Erase ... 00:29
Enter disk name ... 00:33
Select disk format - OSXExtended ... 00:39
Click Erase ... 00:43
Close the Disk Utility ... 00:48
Setup Time Machine:
Click Use as backup disk ... 01:03
Time Machine setup ... 01:12
Unlock settings ... 01:15
Select disk to use for backup ... 01:21
Countdown to backup start ... 01:29
Switch OFF the Time Machine ... 01:35
Click Options ... 01:37
Add folders to exclude from backup ... 01:44
Switch ON the Time Machine ... 02:14
Backup:
Do first backup: click Back Up Now ... 02:19
Backup may take long time ... 02:29
Restore:
Let's create some files on Desktop ... 02:50
Do backup ... 03:09
Remove files ... 03:16
Let's restore files - click Enter Time Machine ... 03:26

Entire MacBook recovery:
