Salvage BMW F10 M5 - How to software flash DME with E-Sys
In the previous episode the car was idling really badly, and it looked like there wasn't a cold start procedure which makes me think there's a tune on it and I want the car back to stock.
After researching a few forums and asking for a few opinions I was informed by quite a few people that flashing the latest software onto the DME's would reset the tune and effectively put them back to stock. If you know otherwise please let me know in the comments below.
The flashing process itself is quite straightforward but does take a little time to complete in e-Sys.
Today I step through the process and cross my fingers that it's addressed my problem.
