The truth about WD 40 vs headlights. WD 40 for cleaning, WD-40 has a lot of uses. I used W 40 to clean my headlights on my SUV. The real truth about using WD-40 to clean my headlight is that WD-40 is not a good long-term headlight restoration cleaning item. The truth about WD-40 is that yes it can make your headlights look good within seconds to minutes. However after approximately 2 to 3 weeks your headlights will not look as good. So WD 40 is not a good long-term headlight restoration solution for your vehicle headlights. WD-40 has many uses and I have made other WD-40 videos as well. But for this particular Area of use WD 40 can clean my headlights, for a diy quick fix, however it’s not good for headlight restoration for long term. It did take the yellow headlight and make it look a lot better really fast though and it makes it appear like it is a good headlight cleaner but in reality it’s not a good long-term solution. If you want a more long-term solution you may need to take it to someone to get it professionally cleaned and/or restored or buy a kit and do it yourself.
