Audi A5 (8T3) 2.0 TFSI 2012 Low Oil Pressure Warning Message ⚠️ Comes On The Dashboard DTC P164D00

Car came to our garage with low oil pressure warning message on the dashboard, preliminary check was carried out with scanner and retrieved DTC P164D00 with random misfiring too.
We then checked the engine oil pressure with oil pressure tester and had 10 PSi oil pressure at idle, engine at operating temperature, compared with manufacturer specifications and it didn't much manufacturer specs : oil level at maximum , engine at its Operating temperature engine oil pressure 1.2 ..... 2.1 bar.
engine at 2000 RPM engine oil pressure 1.6 ... 2.1 bar.
engine at 3700 RPM engine oil pressure 3.0 ... 4.0 bar. we are going to continue our investigation until we find the fault causing this low oil pressure, so stay turned for the next coming episodes.
