Today I go over how I fixed the plastic fairings on this old scooter with some ABS 3D Printing Filament and a soldering iron to make them as strong as new. Stay around to the end for the best outtro song ever.
You can do this too with just simple strips of plastic from another fairing if you don't have ABS filament. Because the parts are fused together with heat, the repair will be much stronger than even gluing or fibreglassing. So you don't have to drift stitch your scooter back together, you know, not unless you want.
This method can also work with other car parts like hubcaps, some bumpers and other car parts or even dashboard parts, if you're unsure just try it out first on a part that's not critical. Or look for the type of plastic the part is made of by identifying the plastic's name within the little recycling pyramid such as "ABS", "PP", etc.
