How to replace Bosch/Siemens tumble dryer bearings and belt. DIY repair noise and vibration
Repair of my Tumble Dryer Bosch Series 6 / Siemens iQ500 , problem with noisy drum and vibration, DIY. The mechanical design for both models Bosch and Siemens is the same , so the replacement of bearing and belt can apply for both models Series 6 and iQ500 . When your Bosch/Siemens tumble dryer creates noise or vibration this can be first sign that the bearing and belt are damaged. In my case tumble dryer drum became noisy and suddenly stopped spinning . When that happened I thought perhaps belt was ripped, but no actually everything was on place, but what I found was the pulley on the tensioner was broken, the bearing was spinning freely inside the pulley. Funny though I could not find exact original pulley so I bought similar size from onother brand.Anyway I decided to change bearings on the rotor and the belt as well. Which I’ll be showing you in the video.
