This once cherished home belonged to a Belgian family—Andre Johannes and his wife. Only three years have passed since anyone last called this place home, yet the story it holds is far sadder than you could ever imagine.
Andre and his wife raised two sons here, Marc and Robin. Together, they ran a family business, crafting fish tanks and aquariums in the outdoor sheds. But beneath the surface, trouble brewed. The youngest son, Robin, betrayed his family's trust, scamming strangers for hundreds of thousands of euros. This deceit didn’t just break hearts—it shattered lives. The financial strain and grief became unbearable for Andre and his wife, and in the end, it was too much. They both passed away, leaving behind a legacy of sadness. The state claimed the house, and now it sits quietly, frozen in time.
Inside, we find traces of their lives, untouched and undisturbed. A room still devoted to their granddaughter, Ellen, remains as it was. You wonder—does she think of this place, of the home her grandparents once filled with love? Life, it seems, can be deeply unfair.
