Antique Clock Restoration - The Complete Job - Part 6, Restoring the Dial.

In this series, I will be covering all the work required to restore a nineteenth-century bracket clock. This is part 6 where I cover the process of restoring the dial.
The dial had been subject to a strange previous 'restoration' where it has been polished and silver plated. I corrected this work by stripping the plating, restoring the black wax infill, re-graining,
silvering and lacquering to restore the finish closer to its original look.

building a horological masterpiece for all to see here on YouTube. Thank you!
