FLEX SEAL is it any good??| Flex seal on your car???| Restoration hack, Maybe??
I have done some other, shall we say unorthodox repairs on this old Comet. Is this a step to far?? Sometimes you have to think outside the box on a build like this. I am trying to get this car back together without breaking the bank or over restoring this car. I have been involved with doing a full show restoration and it took 11 years to get it finished, I want to be able to drive and enjoy this car much sooner. It is the goal of this car to be mechanically sound and reliable. Some, I'm sure will call this a short cut or hackery. I'm not going to argue with you about that, because it probably is. But there is more than one way to get a job done that is effective and less invasive. The process to rebuild every aspect of this car in my driveway would literally take several years and would prove to be nearly impossible in this environment. I like to call what I am doing here a Rust o ration. I will agree it's not for everyone. I think the end product will be a drivable fun car, thats the goal anyway. I hope you enjoy the video and there will be more coming on this Flex Seal hack, is it paintable, how well does it hold up and where can it be used. remember to Like, comment and subscribe. Thank for watching.
