Trouble shooting / How to get an old lawn mower to start. #shorts
List of items to check:
Air filter (dirt in engine or no air if clogged):
Oil (ensure oil is to the fill level with correct oil) 5W30 used:
Gas (remove old gas and use fresh high octane gas)
Spark Plug (no spark = no ignition): TBD
Carburetor (old gas can cause issues with starting and running mixes air and fuel):TBD
Starter Fluid (get around carburetor issues to get started): Valvoline was used, but just make sure it is ETHER in any starter fluid will work
Siphon (get the old gas out): similar hand pump siphon
Air filter cover (will not stop engine from starting):
Combustion requires Fuel, Air, and Ignition Source (Spark) so keep that in mind while trouble shooting a combustion engine issue.
Caution: Gas and Ether are HIGHLY Flammable and can easily ignite!!!!
