How To Fix a Dodge T1N Sprinter Electric Van Window l Power Window Off Track
If your power windows no longer work in your sprinter van and you're tired of riding around with your window taped up this is the video for you. Most of the early T1N sprinters experience this problem due to the window slide being made out of plastic. When the plastic piece fails the window motor arm jumps off of the track and no longer pushes and pulls the window up and down.
This repair applies to all T1N Sprinters (Dodge Freightliner Mercedes) from 1994-2006 with power windows. The plastic retainer that attaches the window to the arm that moves it up and down typically cracks in half and allows the motor to jump out of the track. A brass replacement part is available from Ebay (link below) and this video shows how to take the door apart, remove the motor assembly, attach the new brass piece, and put everything back together.
