VW Flywheels, Seals, and Cockatiels - Type-3 Fastback Repair Discussion

Ruby, the VW Type-3 Fastback started to leak oil BADLY! This is a re-occurrence of the problem, as I have replaced the VW Flywheel Seal VW Main Seal about 3 times in the last 6 years... TOO OFTEN! I believe the VW lightened flywheel is defective so I got a suitable replacement part for it.... and to my surprise upon removing the flywheel it appears to be in worse shape than it was the last time I saw it. I believe some moisture got to the flywheel at some time previous to getting the car, and the metal on the sealing surface was compromised thus eating the seal. Anyway... IS FIXED NOW!
