FINISH Making New Boom Lift Cylinders | Franna Crane Project | Part 3
This is Part 3 of our Franna Crane project! We are working on finishing making the new boom lift cylinders and in this video we get all the parts machined and the cylinders assembled and painted. We show the step by step process of boring the rod eyes to size, machining the new bronze bushings and pins, machining the cast iron bearing, plus lots of hydraulic pressing before the cylinders get reassembled and painted! Stay tuned for the next video where we sort out the hydraulic oil and get the cylinders fitted back onto the crane.
