The brake booster provides assistance to the braking system. In simplistic terms, by having a brake booster installed on your vehicle, it does not require you to place a great deal of force on the brake pedal to stop the vehicle. The master cylinder holds the brake fluid. Additionally, it uses hydraulic pressure to stop the vehicle.
