Nikita The Lada 2101 - 004: Russian Metal - Part Deux // Restoring A Lada
In this episode, I inspect the under body of Nikita the Lada 1200 to see how much rust this 44 year old car has hiding under it's stone chip protection. This involved a lot of grinding, a lot of brushing, and a trip to my GP during lockdown. The end result is quite surprising, in more ways than one!
This is the second part of the Russian Metal episode. If you haven't watched the first part then I suggest you should, as it gives you an idea about the state of the bodywork inside the car.
