Toyota Stuck in Park/Will Not Shift Into Any Gear - P0504 and P0571. In this video I show how I diagnose and fix a Toyota Sienna that is stuck in park. The gear selector on this van would intermittently stay in park and not shift into any gear. This vehicle couldn't be driven when this was happening and had the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): P0504 Brake Switch A/B Correlation and P0571 Brake Switch A Circuit. A bad Brake Light Switch (Stop Lamp Switch Assembly) is a common reason this can happen. The exact vehicle in this video is a 2006 Toyota Sienna CE.
