How to fix a Tyco RC 6.0V Jet Turbo Battery or Nikko Taiyo
Do you like Tyco or Taiyo RC cars from 80s/90s? Checkout my new site
Note: I recommend replacing with the same Ni-Cd batteries if you're going to be using the same old Ni-Cd charger, as those old chargers won't work well with newer Ni-Mh batteries. However if you're going to use a more modern charger with these, then of course you can use Ni-Mh batteries.
In today's video I restore an old 1990s Tyco RC 6.0V Jet Turbo Battery , the same found in Tyco RadioShack Nikko and many other RC toys whose NiCad batteries are long expired. If you're skillled in electronics you might try this (at your own risk!), or for everyone else, search eBay for NK-2927 (thank me in the comments!)
