Mercedes B180 CDI W245 Rattling noise on warm start! HELP!
Hello!
I'm hearing a strange noise from the engine area of my Mercedes.
It is appearing only on warm start, for example:
I drive the car for about 15 mins and then I turn it off. Then during it's still warm (after 15-45 mins) when I start it again, everything is running smooth, but after 30 seconds it starts to rattle.
It's something like an additional engine/fan turning on. You can hear this rattling from 00:23 sec.
It disappears after driving for about 1-2 minutes. At the end of the video, you can hear that the noise is disappearing.
During the car is warm, every time I start the car this noise can be heard for about 30 seconds after, no matter that it has finished once with the rattle (from the previous start).
It can't be heard on a cold start, only when it's warm.
I don't have any problems while driving, accelerating, shifting, or else. But this sound indicates something.
It's very annoying!
Can you please give me your opinions?
What could be causing this problem?
