A lightning bolt struck Sarasota, Florida, hitting a 100-foot-tall Norfolk pine tree next to this man’s house. The force of the lightning caused the tree to explode, sending massive 15-foot chunks scattering across the neighbors' yards. The top 40 feet of the tree fell onto the man's house, causing the entire ceiling to cave in. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the damage left the house in complete ruins.
