Volvo AC-compressor Replacement on 2.0 VEA Engine (V40 and other models...)
Volvo V40 AC compressor replacement job applicable to compressors mounted on 2.0 VEA engines. The original compressor had an open circuit on the clutch coil, with the car reporting AC-clutch relay high-voltage detected during diagnostic scan. Upon removal, the compressor was found to be seized, possibly due to overheating, which also led to the failure of the clutch coil.
