Mercedes Benz recently launched two of their latest products in India inform of a SUV & a Infortaiment system - the new face lift GLC & MBUX interface platform.
Flywheel had our first drive of the new GLC and experienced the new MBUX platform from MBRDI, Bangalore, the largest R&D Center for Mercedes out of Germany.
The Mercedes Benz GLC offers one Diesel Engine and 2 Petrol Engines as variants.
The Diesel engine is 2143 cc while the Petrol engine is 1991 cc and 2996 cc.
Depending upon the variant and fuel type the Mercedes Benz GLC has a mileage of 11.5 to 17.9 kmpl. The Mercedes Benz GLC is a 5 seater SUV and has a length of 4656mm, width of 1890mm and a wheelbase of 2873mm.
The name MBUX for the new infotainment system signals that the user experience (UX) is to the fore.
A unique feature of MBUX in Mercedes Benz is its ability to learn thanks to artificial intelligence.
MBUX in Mercedes Benz can be individualised and adapts to suit the user which creates an emotional connection between the vehicle, driver and passengers.
MBUX in Mercedes Benz includes the high-resolution Widescreen Cockpit with touchscreen operation, navigation display with augmented reality technology plus intelligent voice control with natural speech recognition, which is activated with the keyword “Hey Mercedes”.
