Did you know that BMW and a lot of manufacturers have this very annoying problem in their cars that shows up after some years of use, it's the infamous sticky door handle curse that makes your hand dirty with the gooey melted plastic whenever you have to go in or out of your car, but luckily there is a cheap fix you can do yourself that does not require the removal of the door panel and drilling it to replace the door handle, the fix will even make your car interior look and feel better than OEM and it's also easier than replacing the parts. the fix is to wrap both parts of the handle in peal and stick leather, it is the best cheapest way to solve this very annoying problem, you can fin a full tutorial on my YouTube channel.
