House of the Dragon: Explained - What Will Happen During This Series? (Part 1)

Welcome back for another Game of Thrones Prequel Series: House of the Dragon video. In this video, I will be going over the history of House of the Dragon, as told by George R.R. Martin, in Fire and Blood, Volume 1.

I will be going over all of the major events that took place during the Dance of Dragons, when House Targaryen divided over who was the rightful heir for the Iron Throne. All of the information in this video is in George R.R. Martin's Fire and Blood, which HBO is using to adapt House of the Dragon. This will be a good history lesson for those of you who aren't familiar with this time period in Westerosi history. This will be part 1 of what will likely be a 4 or 5 part video series. This first video covers what happens directly after King Viserys I Targaryen dies. You will find out exactly how his wife, Queen Alicent Hightower, their son, King Aegon II Targaryen, his daughter, Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, and his brother, Prince Daemon Targaryen, prepared for their fight over the Iron Throne, when they formed their sides that are known as, The Blacks and The Greens. Let me know what you think about the video. As always, thanks for watching!
