This video shows you how to install new TRQ outer tie rods on your 2008-2012 Honda Accord. Outer tie rods, sometimes referred to as “tie rod ends,” connect the steering rack to the steering knuckle. Their joints can wear out over time, causing loose steering, vibrations, and uneven tire wear. They are also a common failure point in localities with safety inspections.
This repair was done on a 2010 Honda Accord LX-S 2.4L Coupe 2-Door FWD Manual and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2008 Honda Accord
2009 Honda Accord
2010 Honda Accord
2011 Honda Accord
2012 Honda Accord
Tools you will need:
• 24mm Wrench
• 19mm Socket
• Pliers
