TEAR DOWN! Revealing Secrets About My Formula 1 Car | F1 RESTORATION Part 1
To start off the day, we jump into the Lotus Elise Cup 250 Final Edition and the Aston Martin Vantage GT8, two very different British, manual sports cars. Meanwhile the FW19 is loaded into the back of TDF's van.
On arrival, we're obviously greeted by lots of stripped down F1 cars, so it's time to make a start. Without any messing around, the team at TDF begin removing the body panels of the car, the simulator wiring, and Tim gets involved in removing some suspension components and brake lines!
Also don't forget about the Tarmac MiniGT GT500 models that are available now:
Thanks for watching!
It's time to properly start the transformation of @Shmee150's Formula 1 car, and to begin we are transporting it to Tour De Force, who specialise in restoring F1 cars.
Now dismantled, it's time to plan our next steps, refurbing the other three wheels, painting the body panels, and tidying up some of the chassis. All of this and more coming soon to @TheShmuseum!
