I-CAR Launches "Best Practices For High-Strength Steel Repair" Course February 27, 2012

Many in the collision industry are unaware of the properties of higher strength steels (HSS) and how these materials need to be handled to effect a complete, safe repair of modern automobiles. In addition, the consequences of performing an improper collision repair due to being unfamiliar with how to work with high-strength steel (HSS) can be dire.

I-CAR's new course, Best Practices For High-Strength Steel Repair (SPS09), focuses on the identification of types of steel and covers crucial "best practices" when it comes to drilling, cutting, straightening, and pulling sections that are made of HSS.
