How you can fix a warped manifold on Land Rover Defender - part 2
I wanted to reuse my manifold on my Land Rover TD5 Defender, with the teory that, if it has warped once, it won't do it again. The teory about metal beeing heat treated gets stronger, more rigid, and if I then plane the heat treated manifold it won't warpe again. This instead of putting on a new one that will eventually warpe..
So with the teory in hand I delivered my manifold to a professional machine workshop, CYLMO, instead of trying to do the planning manually at home. And I'm glad I did.
In part 2 I go to pick up the newly planed manifold and you will get to see how they did it. Thank's to Cylmo and Vetle for doing a great job with planning and filming.
