Audi A6 C7 Замена облезшего хрома на руле (подушке безопасности) / peeling chrome on steering wheel
Для замены хромированной рамки руля #Audi #A6C7 необходимо снять и разобрать подушку безопасности.
Снятие подушки безопасности Audi A6 C7:
- поворачиваем руль на 90 градусов
- плоской отверткой за рулём сдвигается фиксатор
- поворачиваем руль еще на 180 градусов
- так же плоской отверткой сдвигается фиксатор
- подушка безопасности отводится от руля и за ней отключаются коннекторы
Если потребуется снять руль, то нужно будет открутить гайку с помощью Spline M12
Хромированная рамка припаяна, поэтом потребуется паяльник и гравер, можно попробовать срезать и ножом, но это очень неудобно.
Попытка отшкурить и покрасить старую рамку провалилась, краска плохо ложится даже с грунтом для пластика и уже не похожа на хром.

To replace the chrome steering wheel frame of the Audi A6C7, the airbag must be removed and disassembled.
Removing the Audi A6 C7 airbag:
- turn the steering wheel 90 degrees

- turn the steering wheel another 180 degrees
- the lock is also moved with a flat screwdriver
- the airbag is removed from the steering wheel and the connectors are disconnected behind it
If you need to remove the steering wheel, you will need to unscrew the nut with the Spline M12
The chrome frame is soldered, so you will need a soldering iron and an engraver, you can try to cut it with a knife, but it is very inconvenient.
An attempt to sand and paint the old frame failed, the paint does not fit well even with the plastic primer and no longer looks like chrome.
