On November 24, 2014 another HVAC contractor condemned this Peerless boiler during a routine annual maintenance service call. They condemned it because the heat exchanger was leaking water. Since we provided plumbing service to this client, they called us in for an estimate to replace the boiler as "one was needed immediately".
Fortunately, we prevented this homeowner from getting ripped off by this contractor! The boiler which we serviced and maintained since that day finally started to leak, just the other day on January 12, 2022.
