Wilton Vise Restoration Part 1: Disassembly and Cleaning
Several weeks ago, I picked up a nice antique Wilton "bullet" vise that was in great condition except for the layers of rust after sitting outside for many years before I got it. In this episode, I will show the process for disassembling the vise to its components, sandblasting the cast iron parts in my blasting cabinet and polishing the end of the screw. In a later episode, we will give the items a fresh new coat of paint and reassemble.
