Ford Focus Engine Rebuild 2.0L SOHC SPI - Part 11 (Final)

Part 11 and final video of the engine rebuild after my 2002 Ford Focus dropped a valve seat. In this video, I bolt up the few remaining parts, new plugs and wires, fill some fluids, prime the oil pump, and start the car. I also track down a few leaks the next day. As of this posting, car has over 1000 miles on it after the rebuild. Runs better that it ever has since I've owned it. Quiter, burns cleaner, better gas mileage and has a smoother idle. Thanks for watching.

This is a common problem with these engines typically happening to the valves for cylinder 2 or 4 (4 being the most common). See here: or just google it.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not an automotive mechanic and I'm learning this as I go by researching and a service manual. A lot of important information (torque specs, guidelines, advice, etc.) is not included in these videos and you will need to reference a service manual to get them. Do not try to do this rebuild simply by following my videos. A lot of tools were used not seen in the video, so if you don't have some basic tools or the ability to get them, I wouldn't attempt this either. Again, I'm not a mechanic, this is just a project I'm doing more for fun/learning than necessity.

If you have any friendly advice, I'd be glad to hear it.
