1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Woodie Station Wagon Restoration Project

1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Woodie Station Wagon Restoration Project

Eric has spent some time in Venice Beach. Roy Brizio think some of the Beach Boys must have rubbed off on him. Now the search was on for a woodie. A nice ’47 Chevy wagon was located in Southern California, and after a quick inspection, the car was purchased and brought to Roy Brizio Street Rods shop.
The plan was to perform our standard conversion, a Heidts front end, Currie rear-end and a small block Chevy. However, once Brizio started, they found things that forced them to go a little deeper. The result, some patch work and a new coat of paint and a trip to Chris Messano Wood Works for a tune up on the wood.
