The Luminary Shoppe & Carriage Lamps | Engels Coach Shop

Restoring original lamps, along with building new traditional lamps, has been the specialty of The Luminary Shoppe , Rick Bischoff, for the last 38 years. Carriages and coaches were often arrayed with the finest elaborate coach lamps, from the Park Drags and Hearses, to the common doctor's buggy. Building and restoring horse drawn vehicles, with wheelwright, Dave Engel, introduces you to the top carriage lamp restorer in America, Rick Bischoff.

Bischoff is launching his own YouTube Channel, The Luminary Shoppe, to demonstrate the craft of the carriage lamp industry and will be an integral part of preserving the horsed drawn vehicle era. Meet Rick and better understand how Engels Coach Shop and The Luminary Shoppe are so closely related and follow his journey in his building of a YouTube library documenting his trade.

NEW APPAREL!
In response to numbers of requests we have just launched our shirts and accessories stores. We are using both Store Frontier and TeeSpring. Store Frontier will handle our shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies while TeeSpring will handle our mugs, caps and other misc. accessories. The first offerings are commemoratives of the Borax Wagons we built.

We have appreciated the long lasting support of you viewers and numbers have asked how you can help support the channel. I had calculated that if we reached 100,000 subscribers I would consider it as a valid endeavor. So, having reached, and surpassed that milestone, we have had a custom logo designed commemorating the Borax Wagon project. If this proves to be accepted I will continue to have designs created for an ongoing line-up of apparel.

Thank you to everyone who continues to find this channel worthwhile. The store links are below.
