Recovering a Scion TC that took a 300 foot tumble down a hill

Recovering a Scion TC that took a 300 foot tumble down a hill. First, YES, the driver lived! Not sure what the cause of the accident was, but we got the call to tackle this recovery last week on 11/1/2021, roughly 30 miles up Angeles Crest Highway. Hulk has 250' lines, which could not reach all the way to the car. Luckily we brought my 150' synthetic extension, which worked amazing.

The hike itself was not too bad, just very steep. Once rigged, Dave operated Hulk to bring the car all the way back up to the hill. To get it over the guard rail safely, we attached a strap to the back of the car to deadlift the entire thing, then "walked" with it to the nearby turnabout.

From here, all Dave had to do was backup his flatbed underneath it and secure it for transport. I decided to get creative on this one and utilize my GoPro magnets, so hopefully it caught some new cool angles!
