2012 Honda Civic- Air Intake Hose causing Sputtering - Hesitation Under Acceleration (Fixed)
My car would sputter or like fall flat for just a split second every time I would take off from a stoplight. It would also do it as I accelerated, just a little bit but was annoying to drive. It would also idle just a bit rough when in gear. I researched this and found that a torn air intake hose is likely culprit. So I checked mine and yes it was torn. I replaced it and all is good now. Smooth acceleration all the way, car runs perfect now. Just thought I’d share this video of the repair.
